I would like to extend a warm welcome to each of you. I am incredibly grateful to our co-business partners for their unwavering commitment to our society. You know, the credit cooperative are member-based financial organizations designed to provide accessible and affordable financial services to their members, primarily in rural and semi-urban areas. These institutions play a vital role in promoting financial inclusion, supporting local economies, and enhancing the socio-economic development of communities.

The society has consistently benefited over the past seventeen years, and the credit for this progress rightfully belongs to all stakeholders. Our initial paid-up share capital and member subscription deposits began at just ₹.700.00 rupees and have now grown to ₹.10,29,53,225.00 crores according to the Audit year 2023-24, which representing a significant achievement for our organization.

The journey has not always been smooth, as we have worked to convince people about our vision, mission, and business models. We are actively introducing modern and upgraded technologies into our operational system. We always believe in providing simple and user-friendly service modules for ordinary users. We are successfully managing transactions and addressing issues related to digital technologies. Today, significant advancements have been made to smoothly operate the entire system digitally.

I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the employees and volunteers for their tremendous efforts. The integrity of our team, along with the comprehensive teamwork of our volunteers and constructive suggestions from shareholders and financial and legal advisers, has been instrumental in our success. I believe the potential of hard work, goodwill, and the trust from our community is our organization’s greatest asset.

Over the last decade, we have gained invaluable experience at the grassroots level. We understand the financial needs of people in rural and remote areas of Assam. We remain committed to promoting and adhering to cooperative principles. Our members are encouraged to follow the rules and regulations as outlined in our bye-laws.

As a cooperative financial institution we are always following the cooperative principles, organisational values and ethics. We have 14696 members as of the updated voter list of 2023-24.

We are accepting deposits and providing loans at a minimum interest rate for our members. As a financial institution, we strive to provide affordable financial services and aim to encourage people to join our society as members, allowing them to access basic banking services such as digital payments, deposits, withdrawals, and hassle-free money transfers.

Our society also fosters innovative financial products and services, enabling members to access affordable financial services without the risks of fraud. We are committed to promoting the Digital India program as part of our social awareness initiatives.
